Question by atheleticman_fan: What’s a fun brewery/theater in Portland, OR?
I heard there are bars where you drink beer and watch a movie, which is your recomendation.. also what district is it in so I can find an inexpensive hotel room within walking distance? What areas to avoid? Any other ideas of entertainment- we will be in town two nights in July.

Try the McMenamins Bagdad Theater and Pub at 3702 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard

The Baghdad on Hawthorne is cool. Hawthorne is a cool area too.
Also the Kennedy school in NE Portland is pretty rad. It’s an old elementary school that they turned into a restaurant/bar/hotel. Both the Baghdad and Kennedy school are owned by Mcmenemins.
