5. Sports ( mainly the popular ones as soccer , baseball , rughy , cricket , tennis , NASCAR , WWE , Basketball , Formula 1 , MMA , Extreme sports)

I think you probably have the right order if you consider an entire population. My personal list is different though:

1. Music
2. Sports
3. Movies / Cinema
4. Visual arts / Books
5. TV (I honestly couldn’t tell you a TV show I watch on a regular basis anymore).

Call a few movie theatres and meet the bosses!!! Ask them questions while you buy dinner or lunch for them!!!

i work with people with special needs in a day program setting in Toronto.i’m looking for the places where we can go with clients without paying entrace fee.we want to go out for integration in society as much as we can but because of budget constraints we are unable to do so.
everybody needs some entertainment in life and our guys too need it.we need the places like clubs,museum,parks,amusement parks,theatres,art galleries,indoor and outdoor shows and festivals etc,etc.

If you check the various museums and art galleries websites there is often a day it is free. Also, if you call them, they may be willing to let you in if you explain what you are doing. High park is always nice as is the boardwalk at the Beaches. For free festivals and stuff, check toronto.com.

I heard there are bars where you drink beer and watch a movie, which is your recomendation.. also what district is it in so I can find an inexpensive hotel room within walking distance? What areas to avoid? Any other ideas of entertainment- we will be in town two nights in July.

I am wiring a home theater and want to be able to dim the lights or have different setting for the canned and recessed lighting………what would you suggest?

The cheapest and easiest would be to simply install dimmer switches for each set of lights.

There are some automatic systems out there that you can control with a universal remote, but if it’s not too much trouble, just stand up and adjust the lights when the previews are playing.

Can anyone recommend the type of VGA cable that i need to get to be able to play a DVD on home theatre and watch it on the LCD.

Why not get out the instruction booklet for the home theater part of it, and check?

We can all ASSume….but the facts are better than assumptions.

Some VGA-Looking ports are actually serial communication ports on real old equipment…more than 5 years old.

I’ve always been curious; what does the theater employee do who comes in usually halfway through the movie, or shortly before then, usually with a clipboard and light? Is he counting people against the tickets sold, or is he/she just checking for camcorders?

Light is for the camcorders because the light will reflect back from the lens of the camcorder. . .

I am looking to sell my Samsung Z-510 Home Theater System. I have had it since May of last year and it is in great working condition. It includes 5 speakers(counting 2 rear wireless speakers), a sub, and 5-disc DVD changer. 1200 watts. Please advise.
Whoops I forgot to include what I bought it for lol…$ 350

Depends how much you bought it for. I would say 500. or 1/4 or what you paid which ever is greater.

We just moved to a developing community that is far away from the city and about 30 minutes from the nearest movie theater. The subject came up about the demand for a movie theater in the area. How realistic is the prospect of opening a movie theater? It doesn’t need to be huge. Just a few screens. If there is anyone who has opened their own theater, how much does it cost to do something like this?
I said it doesn’t have to be huge, meaning not a megaplex. I didn’t say it had to be small. There are plenty of smaller profitable theaters in other areas that are similar to ours.
